Source Water Protection Workshops June 21 & 22: Learn What You Can Do to Protect Drinking Water

Our Water. Our Decisions. Our Future.

What can we do to ensure we have Clean Drinking Water now and for future generations?

How we govern and shape development patterns in our communities directly affects the quality of water we and our children will drink. Planning land use at the watershed level protects the sources of our drinking water by protecting land where development would harm source water.

Join us for a pair of half day workshops to learn the Steps to Protect Drinking Water.

On June 21, you’ll learn the basics, understand roles and responsibilities, and be introduced to tools and assistance for creating a protection plan for your source water.

On June 22, additional training focuses on how planning tools can be used to help protect drinking water supplies.
